The Latest AS Roma News
Roma have completed the signing of Swedish goalkeeper Robin Olsen on a five-year contract.
The 28-year-old joins from Danish side FC Copenhagen for €8.5m, with a further €3.5m available in bonuses. He takes the number one shirt vacated by Alisson Becker. Olsen was Sweden’s first-choice goalkeeper at the World Cup, keeping three clean sheets as his country reached the quarter finals. He told asroma.com: "It’s a big honour to come to AS Roma. It’s the next step for me and I cannot wait to get started.” Olsen becomes the final piece of the club’s new look goalkeeping setup, with Antonio Mirante and Daniel Fuzato also joining this summer. Benvenuto, Robin.
