The Latest AS Roma News
Roma have confirmed the squad list for the club’s pre-season tour of the United States.
Following the initial training camp at Trigoria, which included a 9-0 win over Latina and a 1-1 draw with Avellino, the club will now fly out to America to participate in the International Champions Cup. 27 players will make the trip across the Atlantic, including nine of the club’s ten summer signings. Nicolò Zaniolo is the only one who isn’t involved, as he is currently on international duty with Italy at the U19 Euros. Several players have been culled from the list that took part in the Trigoria training camp. Elio Capradossi recently left for Spezia on a season-long loan, and Andrea Romagnoli has joined Serie C side Renate on a temporary basis. Meanwhile, Daniele Verde will not be making the trip to the US, a likely indication of an exit. Youngsters Stefano Greco and Alessio Riccardi will also not travel, despite coming on as late subs in the win over Latina. The same goes for Devid Bouah, who made a cameo against Avellino. Roma take on Tottenham Hotspur, Barcelona and Real Madrid in the tournament. The full squad list is as follows: Goalkeepers: Antonio Mirante, Daniel Fuzato, Matteo Cardinali Defenders: Rick Karsdorp, Alessandro Florenzi, Kostas Manolas, Federico Fazio, Ivan Marcano, Juan Jesus, William Bianda, Aleksandar Kolarov, Luca Pellegrini, Davide Santon Midfielders: Daniele De Rossi, Maxine Gonalons, Kevin Strootman, Lorenzo Pellegrini, Javier Pastore, Ante Ćorić, Bryan Cristante Forwards: Edin Dzeko, Patrik Schick, Gregoire Defrel, Cengiz Ünder, Justin Kluivert, Stephan El Shaarawy, Diego Perotti
