The Latest AS Roma News
Roma will begin the 2018-19 Serie A season with an away game against Torino, after the league fixtures were drawn today.
Last season, Roma did the league double over Torino, winning 1-0 away and 3-0 at home. However, the Turin side knocked the Giallorossi out of the Coppa Italia in December. The derbies against Lazio will take place on matchday 7 and matchday 26 of the season, while Roma will take on champions Juventus on matchdays 17 and 36. Eusebio Di Francesco's side clash with Inter on matchdays 14 and 33, when Radja Nainggolan and Luciano Spalletti will face off against their former employers. The season will end with a home game against Parma, who are returning to Serie A after their third straight promotion. It's a repeat of the final fixture of the 2000-01 season, which Roma famously won 3-1 to claim their third Scudetto.
