2015 – Roma drew 0-0 with BATE Borisov in the Champions League, finishing second in their group as a result. 2012 – Roma beat Fiorentina 4-2 with goals from Leandro Castan, Francesco Totti (2) and Dani Osvaldo. 2007 – Roma drew 1-1 with Livorno, as Daniele De Rossi’s early opener was cancelled out within a minute. 2001 – Goals from Marcos Assuncao and Diego Fuser sealed a 2-1 win over Parma. 1999 – Roma drew 0-0 at Newcastle United in the UEFA Cup third round second leg, progressing 1-0 on aggregate. 1992 – Roma lost 3-2 to Galatasaray in the UEFA Cup third round second leg, but still progressed 5-4 on aggregate. Claudio Caniggia and Thomas Hassler scored on the night. 1979 – Juventus beat Roma 2-0. 1973 – Despite taking the lead through Piergiorgio Negrisolo, Roma lost 2-1 to Lazio. 1967 – Roma were held to a goalless draw at Mantova. 1962 – Milan beat Roma 1-0. 1945 – Roma won 3-1 at Salernitana with goals from Amedeo Amadei (2) and Naim Krieziu.
