Maurizio Iorio and Paulo Roberto Falcao scored to seal a 3-0 aggregate win. 1981 – Roma beat Inter 4-1 in the first leg of their Coppa Italia Round of 16 clash. The goals came from Odoacre Chierico, Paolo Alberto Faccini, an own goal and an Agostino Di Bartolomei penalty. 1979 – Christian Wilhelmsson was born. The winger spent half a season on loan at Roma in 2007, scoring once. 1974 – Roma beat Cagliari 2-1 with goals from Giorgio Morini and Giancarlo De Sisti. 1968 – Roma won 2-1 against LR Vicenza, as Giuliano Taccola and Franco Cordova scored. 1963 – Roma beat Modena 2-0 with goals from Jurgen Schutz and Angelo Sormani. 1955 – Giacomo Losi scored an own goal as Fiorentina beat Roma 2-0. 1951 – Stig Sundqvust and Arcadio Venturi scored as Roma beat Monza 2-0. 1949 – Roma drew 0-0 Como. 1948 – Roma lost 2-0 at home to Padova. 1946 – Roma drew 0-0 with Modena. 1940 – Miguel Angel Panto scored a consolation as Roma lost 3-1 at Juventus. 1937 – Roma beat Pontedera 3-1 after extra time in the Coppa Italia Round of 32.
