1979 – Matteo Ferrari was born. The defender played for Roma between 2004 and 2008, winning two Coppe Italia and one Supercoppa Italiana. Ferrari made a total of 104 appearances for the club, scoring just once. He also played for the likes of Inter, Parma and Genoa in his career. Also:

Francesco Totti, Daniele Conti, Marco Delvecchio (2) and Carmine Gautieri scored. 1995 – Roma beat Brondby 3-1 in the UEFA Cup third round second leg, to progress 4-3 on aggregate. Francesco Totti, Abel Balbo and Amedeo Carboni scored. 1993 – Goals from Antonio Comi and Massimiliano Cappioli gave Roma a 2-0 win over Parma. 1979 – Roma drew 2-2 with Milan in the Coppa Italia quarter-final second leg, winning 6-2 on aggregate. Roberto Pruzzo followed up an own goal. 1976 – Agostino Di Bartolomei scored as Roma drew 1-1 with Milan. 1971 – Roma came from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Cagliari. An own goal and a Sergio Petrelli strike sealed the comeback. 1962 – Roma lost 5-2 to Genoa in the Coppa Italia Round of 16. Francisco Lojacono and Giampaolo Menichelli scored for the Lupi, but Egidio Guarnacci and Giulio Corsini scored own goals. 1948 – Roma lost 2-1 to Palermo, with Omero Losi scoring a consolation. 1943 – Amedeo Amadei scored a brace in a 2-0 win over Juventus Roma.
