2015 – Mohamed Salah scored and was sent off in his first game against former club Fiorentina. Roma won 2-1, with Gervinho scoring the other goal in the first half. However, the game in Florence ended in bittersweet circumstances for Salah, who received two yellow cards in the 87th minute, one for a foul and one for a gesture to the referee. It was a positive result for Roma nonetheless, who became the first side to score in an away game against Fiorentina that season. Also:

Marco Delvecchio scored a brace. 1992 – Silvano Benedetti scored a consolation goal as Roma lost 2-1 to Napoli. 1987 – Roberto Pruzzo’s opener was cancelled out in a 1-1 draw with Napoli. 1981 – Agostino Di Bartolomei and Roberto Pruzzo scored in a 2-0 win over Fiorentina. 1970 – Roma drew 0-0 away at Varese. 1964 – Fulvio Francesconi’s brace saw Roma beat Catania 2-1. 1959 – Roma lost 1-0 to Padova. 1953 – Roma drew 1-1 with Inter, Carlo Galli opening the scoring. 1942 – Roma drew 0-0 away at Venezia. 1931 – Roma twice came from behind to draw 2-2 with Pro Patria, with the equalisers coming from Attilio Ferraris and Chini.
