2006 – Mirko Vucinic came on for his debut as Roma drew 1-1 with Chievo. Francesco Totti scored the second half equaliser after Sergio Pellissier had put the visitors 1-0 up. Vucinic was brought on just past the hour mark, when Roma were still a goal down. In total, Vucinic went on to make 202 appearances for Roma, scoring 64 goals. Also:
2017 – Aleksandar Kolarov’s free kick gave Roma a 1-0 win against Torino. 2009 – Marco Andreolli scored a stoppage time equaliser, his only ever goal for the club, to seal a 1-1 draw at Fulham in the Europa League group stages. 2008 – Roma lost 1-0 to Chelsea in the Champions League group stages. 2002 – Roma drew 0-0 with Genk in the group stages of the Champions League. 2000 – Francesco Totti, Vincenzo Montella and Gabriel Batistuta all scored as Roma won 3-1 against Vicenza. 1995 – Daniel Fonseca scored in a 1-1 draw with Parma. 1989 – Marco Van Basten scored the winner as Milan beat Roma 1-0. 1979 – Doni was born. He spent six seasons as a goalkeeper for Roma, winning three trophies. 1978 – Roma picked up their first win of the league season as Michele De Nadai and Roberto Pruzzo scored in a 2-0 win against Bologna. 1975 – Swedish side Oster beat Roma 1-0 in the UEFA Cup second round first leg. 1967 – Roma drew 1-1 with Sampdoria, Francesco Scaratti opening the scoring. 1961 – Milan beat Roma 3-1. Alberto Orlando scored Roma’s only goal. 1950 - Inter thrashed Roma 6-0, sending the Giallorossi bottom of Serie A. 1939 – Roma lost 3-0 to Ambrosiana.
