AS ROMA Quizzes
28th March is a special day for all Roma fans, as it marks the anniversary of Francesco Totti's debut for the club.
Over the course of a 25-year career, Totti broke record after record, as he became Roma's all-time leading goalscorer and appearance maker, as well as their longest-serving captain. All journeys start somewhere though, and for the King of Rome, it was in an away trip to Brescia in March 1993, where he would be given a three-minute cameo from the bench. They may not have known it at the time, but the fans present at Stadio Mario Rigamonti that day were witnessing history. In this quiz, you have 10 minutes to name as many members of Roma's squad that day. Here's a generous clue - one of the answers is Francesco Totti. The rest, you'll have to work out yourselves. Claudio Ranieri's second spell in charge of Roma got off to a winning start on Monday with a 2-1 victory over Empoli.
The change of manager appears to have had the desired positive effect, at least in the short-term, and it's not the first time that has happened recently for Roma. In the latest Giallorossi Yorkshire quiz, you have eight minutes to see if you can remember the first player to have scored under each of Roma's last 10 managers. The years and players' positions are given as a hint. Make sure to leave a comment below with your score, and share it via Twitter, tagging in @RomaYorkshire. Good luck! |
